Natural Home Cures · The complete journey

From a living tree
to the bottle
in your hands.

Begin in our mangosteen orchards in Thailand. Follow the harvest, the rich purple pericarp, the careful freeze-drying—and the moment that pericarp becomes the capsules in your bottle. This is the whole journey, from the growing tree to your everyday ritual.

Ten connected stages.
Care at every step.

From the family orchards in Thailand to the bottle in your hands, every stage connects the people who grow and prepare our mangosteen with you. Follow the fruit’s thick purple pericarp as it is carefully prepared, freeze-dried and made into capsules for your daily routine.

The beginning

Before the bottle, the orchard.

A living tree. A harvested fruit. The pericarp we choose to use.

01

Our Thailand-grown mangosteen

It begins with a living tree

Long before there is a capsule, there is a growing mangosteen tree. At Natural Home Cures, the story begins with our family orchards in Thailand, where generations of experience guide the people who care for the trees. The fruit develops on the tree, building the thick purple pericarp that becomes the powder in your capsule.

From branch to collection

Harvested and Hand-Selected with Care

From the family orchards in Thailand, ripe mangosteen is carefully harvested and hand-selected, with attention given to the quality of each fruit.(1)

The pericarp takes center stage

Preparing the Pericarp with Care

Once harvested, the mangosteen is gently cleaned, and its thick, deep-purple outer rind, known as the pericarp, is carefully separated from the soft white flesh. This is the part of the fruit we have chosen for our Rich Pericarp Mangosteen Capsules. What began in the family’s orchards in Thailand now continues through careful preparation, honoring the time, dedication, and generations of growing experience behind each harvest.

The heart of the fruit. The heart of our story.

A remarkable fruit.
A carefully made capsule.

Look closely at the deep purple pericarp. The pericarp is naturally home to xanthones, polyphenols and pigments. Our journey is about caring for that pericarp as it becomes the powder in your capsule.(3)

Why we choose freeze-drying

The harvest is precious.
How we preserve it matters.

Fresh mangosteen brings a rich natural profile of nutrients, pigments and plant compounds. We choose a process that treats the pericarp with care—then brings it into a form that fits your day.

01

Care for sensitive compounds

Freeze-drying removes ice under vacuum, limiting prolonged heat exposure. That makes it a valuable way to help preserve heat-sensitive constituents during processing.(3)

02

More than its beautiful color

Published research on freeze-dried pericarp has measured α-mangostin, total phenolics and antioxidant activity in laboratory assays. This is a botanical profile worth caring for.(6)

03

Keep its natural character

In a published pericarp comparison, freeze-dried samples retained more anthocyanin pigments than the oven- and sun-dried samples tested. Color is one visible part of the preservation story.(3)

04

Protecting Quality After Drying

Drying is only one part of preservation. Careful handling, packaging, and storage help maintain the quality of the freeze-dried mangosteen pericarp. Because the dried pericarp can absorb moisture from the air, moisture-resistant packaging helps protect it until it’s ready for encapsulation.(3)

05

The pericarp stays at the center

We prepare and mill the whole pericarp into our botanical powder. The capsule brings that mangosteen powder into a convenient serving format.

06

Make the remarkable everyday

No fruit preparation. No powder to measure. Our vegetable capsules make carefully prepared mangosteen pericarp a simple addition to your routine.

A remarkable botanical.
A considered choice for your day.

Preserving the pericarp

Prepare it. Freeze it.
Remove moisture with care.

The pericarp moves through a controlled drying process before it becomes a powder.

Arrange and freeze

Prepared on Trays, Frozen with Care

Every harvest represents time, patience, and dedication. After preparation, the mangosteen pericarp is carefully arranged on trays for freezing. Even these seemingly small details matter. The way the pericarp is arranged helps it freeze and dry consistently. This attention to preparation is another way we care for the harvest before carefully removing moisture through freeze-drying.(2)

05

The freeze-drying stage

Remove moisture with care

Under vacuum, controlled heat allows ice to pass directly into water vapor. Primary drying removes the ice; secondary drying reduces moisture that remains associated with the pericarp.(2)

Milling the dried pericarp

From dried pericarp to powder

The dried pericarp is milled into mangosteen powder, ready to fill our vegetable capsules. Care continues after drying, including protecting the powder from unnecessary moisture exposure.(2)

The finished form

From powder to capsule.
From capsule to your bottle.

Follow the mangosteen powder as it is filled into capsules, checked, bottled, labeled and packed with care.

07

Prepare and fill

The powder becomes a capsule

The milled pericarp powder is fed into capsule-filling equipment. Measured powder fills the capsule bodies; the matching halves are brought together to close them. Fill controls and production records connect the mangosteen powder with the finished capsules.

GMP, cleanliness and checks

Samples tested. Details recorded.

Quality is work you should be able to understand: identified samples, appropriate testing and recorded results. Our quality information includes microbial and elemental testing. Good Manufacturing Practices connect ingredient identity, specifications, cleanliness, equipment and production records.

Elemental analysis can measure substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic. Results belong with the sample identification, method and reported findings.

From filled capsules to a filled bottle

Finished capsules move through counting and bottling. The bottle is closed, then prepared for labeling and distribution. Packaging continues the work of protecting the dried pericarp after processing.(4)

The information belongs with the product

The label identifies what is inside and how to use it. Check the ingredients, serving information and directions on the bottle you receive. Clear identification connects the finished product with its production records.(4)
