Mangosteen has two distinct parts: the soft white segments usually eaten fresh, and the thick purple outer rind, called the pericarp. Our capsules use the pericarp, carefully freeze-dried and milled into powder.

From our family orchards to your bottle
Our mangosteen begins in family orchards in Thailand, where generations of growing experience guide the care given to the trees and each harvest. Ripe fruit is harvested and hand-selected before its thick purple pericarp is separated and prepared.
The journey continues through freezing, freeze-drying, and milling. The pericarp powder is then filled into vegetable capsules, checked, bottled, and labeled. Each stage connects the people who grow and prepare our mangosteen with the bottle that reaches your hands.
Why we use freeze-drying
We choose freeze-drying to remove moisture from the mangosteen pericarp while limiting prolonged exposure to high temperatures. The prepared rind is frozen, then dried under vacuum: ice passes directly into water vapor, followed by a finishing stage that reduces the remaining moisture.
After drying, the whole pericarp is milled into powder for our vegetable capsules, with no fillers or binders. Our full article explains the four stages and why careful handling, packaging, and storage continue to matter after drying.
Read the label and quality records
The product label tells you what is in the finished capsules, including ingredients, serving information, and bottle details. A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, records tests on an identified sample. Our published COA summary concerns the supplier’s mangosteen pericarp powder.

How do I use the powder?
For adults, the label suggests half a scoop (approximately 1.25 g) once or twice daily. Use the included scoop and mix into your preferred food or drink. Each container provides approximately 180 half-scoop servings.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light. Follow the directions and precautions on your container.
How does it differ from the capsules?
Both formats use mangosteen pericarp. Our capsules contain freeze-dried pericarp powder in a convenient measured format. The drying methods used for the loose powder may vary between batches, so it is sold as mangosteen pericarp powder.
The powder comes with a scoop for measuring into foods and drinks. Half a scoop contains approximately 1.25 g of pericarp powder; a two-capsule serving contains 1.03 g.

How should I store my mangosteen capsules?

The best-before date and lot number are printed on your bottle’s label. Refer to the date on the bottle you receive, and follow the storage guidance above.

Yes. The natural powder inside our capsules can vary slightly in color between batches. We do not add dyes or coloring to make every batch look identical.
